Well being and contemplation

We  organise workshops and seminars for teachers and groups of people who are interested in bringing their practice to Iceland.  We take care of lodging, meals, transport, occational guided hikes and any necessary services for your work or practice. We have chosen Lake Myvatn especially for the workshops because it allows you to experience your practice in a volcanically active area –with the exceptional presence of the lake – which allows you to simultaniously sense the force and the sweetness of the elements.

We recommend that you alternate between interiour practice and small hikes of 2 to 3hrs maximum with an open air practice – if the weather allows.

We would like to accompany you every day to the nature baths at Lake Myvatn, to bath in geothermal silica rich waters   www.jardbodin.is, introduce you to legends and folklore and all the incredible places on this land so close to the origins.

We organise workshops for different fields, such as:

  • Yoga, Qi gong, Tai chi, Wutao…
  • Shiatsu massage, cranio sacral balancing…
  • Rebirthing
  • Dance and walking

The guides Harpa and Jean-Marc have intimate knowledge of the terrain and their specialist training made the first trips we offered an immediate success, but we have remained true to our principle of preserving their small size and an unsophisticated approach. Our aim – which is also our priority – is to ensure a maximum of quality on these trips, whether in terms of food, human relations and awareness of nature, enabling each participant to experience a re-centering of his or her personal life. These short adventures are proposed to people with open, contemplative, active minds, who are willing to take time to discover, feel and meet.

We  offer other places for practice, such as the eco-village « Sólheimar », Snaefellsnes peninsula, Borgarfjördur Eystri...

We also organise private retreats, please contact us.
